"Learn the truth of God's Word, and every time Satan lies to you, quote a scripture back to him." (pg. 12)
"Satan's entire goal is to kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have and enjoy our lives abundantly". (pg 12)
Prayer
"God of all power, thank you for giving me the weapons to defeat the lies of the devil. Help me to always make good use of them. Thank you, Jesus, for being my friend and for being with me in my difficulties and struggles. Amen" pg. 14
My Thoughts:
I'm not pretty
I'm not fast
I'm not strong
I'm not smart
I'm not wise
I'm not skinny
All of these are lies that I have been told over and over.
Now, when Ted tells me I am beautiful, I have a difficult time thanking him and accepting that.
I am not perfect.
God is.
I am made in His image.
HE doesn't make anything ugly.
Lord, help me to remember this and get rid of Satan's lies.
