Day 3- Satan's Strongholds

"For the weapons of our warfare are not physical (weapons of flesh and blood), but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds." 2 Corinthians 10:4

"As long as we believe things that are not true, we will remain imprisoned by those strongholds (bondage's). To enjoy freedom, we must learn to use God's mighty weapons." (Meyers, pg. 8)

"When we genuinely praise God from out hearts, we defeat the devil quicker than by using any other battle plan." (pg. 9).

"As we truly understand that we are God's children, we will gain confidence to use the weapons of our warfare. The weapons are there. We just need instruction on how to use them and encouragement not to give up." (pg. 10).

Prayer:
"precious Holy Spirit, teach me to understand that the weapons of our warfare are spiritual and that we can win against every attack of the devil. In Christ's name, I pray. Amen" (pg. 10)

My thoughts:
I just today finished reading an amazing book, Divergent by Veronica Roth I believe (it's on my kindle upstairs).  The book has bits and pieces where a new group of initiates are learning how the group they want to join works.  They are given the tools to fight before they ever think they need it (and they do).

Just like that, God has given us the tools of praise and prayer to ward of Satan's strongholds on our lives.

Have you ever been in a terrible mood one minute and so fed up you could cry (or are crying)?

I am that way more than I like to admit.

But one thing that helps me out is by helping someone else.

Especially if they are not expecting it.

It is like a gift to me when I am able to give and serve someone else and it puts me in an amazing mood.

May you find your niche for praising God and do it.  I think you'll be surprised on how much easier it becomes if you do it everyday.
