Day 18: My Feelings

"Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in you heart believe that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes and so is justified, and with the mouth he confesses and confirms his salvation." Romans 10: 9-10

Feeling are emotional- not the reality of things. 

Just because you don't feel God's love, it doesn't mean He doesn't love you- God will always love you.

Prayer:
"Loving and caring God, forgive me for thinking wrong thoughts and for allowing wrong feelings to determine my attitude.  I ask You, in the name of Jesus, to help me believe Your Word and to entertain positive thoughts. Amen." (Meyers, pg 62)

**********My Thoughts**********

Today, I needed this.

I have been allowing to control my attitude.

It is so very difficult not to.

Especially since one of the people that does this to me the most is my daughter.

I love her.  But she is done controlling my attitude on life.

The other people, I are done as well.

Lord, please give me the strength to let go of the rope they have around me.
