Christmas Wish List

In our household, I tend to do most of the Christmas shopping for the kids. Now that they are both teenagers and am clueless as to their actual wants- I ask them to write a list out or make a wish list in our Amazon account.

My kids are VERY different!

Take Christian, for instance.

His first list consisted of plastic protector sheets with an orange back for his magic the gathering cards, a MTG fat pack, and Lego gears.  Then all that disappeared and a refurbished Samsung S6 appeared with the explanation that it would be cheaper if all 4 of us got S6s rather than Ted and I getting newer ones.  I asked him if he could put the other items back into his wishlist as smart phones are reserved for those who have a job and can pay for their own (they each have a basic phone).  So this morning, the MTG fat back is there, a block of 36 6-sided dice were added, and a X-Box fallout 3 game is now there.

That is it.  Three items.

Three.

From an almost 16 year old boy.

Now for Alyssa.

I had to take a picture of her lists.

This first one she made, I lost, so she wrote the one below.

Some of the items I can make fairly easy without spending much money at all.

For example, the "Biggest Shit Pillow Available".

Easy peasy... we have horses... just throw a tarp over the manure pile and BAM!!!  The biggest shit pillow available is hers!  I wonder if that would work for "a soft BIG Pillow" as well???  Horse poop can be soft... especially when it's been sitting outside for years.

They both make me smile greatly, and I pray that your kids will do the same for you as we enter the Christmas season.
