"Therefore, now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live and walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit." Romans 8:1
Today's devotion talks about a woman who chose a husband who abused her verbally and physically and then left her for another woman. That woman was angry with herself and questioned if God could ever forgive her.
This reminded of me of what Alyssa asked Ted yesterday after her and I got into a heated moment: how can Mom keep forgiving me for what I do to her?
How can I not?
Just like God is our Father and has forgiven us daily, I will always forgive my baby girl.
Prayer:
"Lord Jesus Christ, in You name I pray for victory. When I fail, please remind me not only that You forgive, but that You also wipe away the guilt and condemnation. Please accept my gratitude. Amen"
